Dr. Ronald M. Thompson

Dr. Thompson was born in 1968 in nearby Ravenna. Raised on a dairy farm, he enjoyed his childhood while learning the value of hard work.

He graduated from Ravenna High School in 1986, studied chemistry at Kent State University, ultimately receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Ohio State University in 1997.

Dr. Thompson has practiced at Stow Dental Group since 1998. After dental school, Dr. Thompson began to study with some of the most progressive minds in the profession. It is these post-graduate experiences that have shaped Dr. Thompson’s practice.

Qualified to practice neuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Thompson uses these principles to provide cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, denture rehabilitation and full mouth reconstruction as well as TMJ treatment.

Dr. Thompson has studied extensively at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Orthodontics and is a founding partner of the Northeast Ohio Neuromuscular Study Club.

His diverse educational background gives Dr. Thompson the ability to understand and treat a multitude of dental concerns.

Dr. Thompson and his wife, Kimberly, live in Stow with their three children, Brayden, Alexa, and Benjamin.
